I Let Them Know My Secret Dessert.
I am not sure if this was a good idea or not, but I let my kids know my fast and easy secret dessert that only Mommy eats after the kids go to bed. I shared it with them. You ask–”Why?” “What was I thinking at the Moment I decided to divulge this information?” I must have lost it. It was one of those nights when you just want to spoil the kids with a dessert and the only thing you have in the house is your own special dessert for yourself. Hmmm! The dilemma. I gave in and let the kids in on my special secret dessert. They loved it. They thought that his was the best dessert that they have ever had.
I started out making in one way and needed to improvise due to lack of the original ingredients. I have changed the recipe, if you could call it that, a few times. Dump Cake (The first way I learned to make this) 1 box of cake mix–I usually use white or yellow cake mix1 stick of butter or margarine1 package of frozen fruit Get a microwaveable container with a lid. The first time I did this I used a Tupperware container. It worked great. Put in the frozen fruit first. Then add the cake mix. Last add the sick of butter or margarine on the top. Cover and cook in the microwave for about 10 minutes. The cake is super moist. I loved it so much! My guests that were over loved it so much too. I could hardly get enough of that cake. It was so fast and easy and tasted wonderful. Well–the next time I went to make it, I did not have any frozen fruit. This is where I improvised. I used a little bit of the cake mix this time because I was making a Personal Dump Cake just for me. I, of course, used the special guessing way of measuring. I poured some cake mix into the bowl that I was using. I added some margarine and some juice since I was out of frozen fruit. I put it in the microwave to cook for about 1 minute so that I could watch it carefully. Again, this cake tasted sooo very good. It was fast too. I made my secret dessert for my children. They were so excited to know my secret. They were even more excited because it was dessert.
I made them each their own personal, little cakes. They loved it and asked for more. They are looking forward to us eating Mommy’s Special Secret Dessert again.

This sounds too good. I’m going to have to try it. Thanks!
Im curious, does the cake come out tasting or looking like a cake, or does it look differently. I would like to try this recipe too…ive never made a cake in the microwave before..never knew you could.
Carey, it can come out looking like a cake. But you can do it how you like it. If you would like it a little less cooked, microwave it less. I like it both ways. I have also heard that you can make a cake with a soda as well. All kinds of things can make a cake.
