Crystal’s Philsbury Casserole

I made this on a whim on Monday and it came out amazing!! I made it as a single meal, but it actually made almost 2 full meals. I just made a few extra biscuits for the second supper and we were set!!

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1 onion

6-8 medium size potatoes

2 cups frozen veggies

1 can Cream of Chicken Soup

I package of Philsbury Biscuits

1 cup grated cheese

salt & pepper to taste

Directions
Peel & cube potatoes, boil. Add frozen veggies about 5 minutes before potatoes are done. Drain veggies and potatos.

Fry ground beef and chopped onions. Add to potatos and veggies. Add the can of soup and one can of water. Salt & Pepper to taste. Bring to a boil. Pour mixture into a large casserole dish.

Open the biscuits and place on top of the casserole, leave a little room inbetween each. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Cook according to the directions on the biscuit package. It may take slightly longer to cook then instructed. When done. the biscuits will look golden brown on top but when you serve it they may still look a little uncooked at the bottom. This is because they were cooked sitting in liquid, so don;t worry about it. It tastes amazing!

Oh Gosh! Thank you for this recipe. My family is getting a little tire of the same old meals week after week. And frankly I am too. I think that I’ll try this tomorrow. Even though I ate dinner a couple of hours ago, I’m ready for this casserole.
