Alyssa Avant, the founder of Beauty By Design, has a passion for reaching today’s teen and preteen girls for God. She has produced a number of wonderful resources for young girls and for their parents including the 30-Day Journaling Guide and a wonderful guide called 7 Easy Steps: Encouraging Your Daughter To Say No.
This week, Alyssa is debuting a brand new resource for parents of young girls: the Christian Charm School Workbook. The workbook is divided into four sessions that can be worked through as part of a small group or individually. The sessions aim to help young girls develop instill faith-based values, manners and etiquette while promoting confidence, spiritual growth and communication skills.
“I’ve talked to other parents who are concerned about the world their children are growing up in,” says Avant, “and as a mother myself, I understand their yearning for a simpler time. There is nothing ‘old-fashioned’ about being polite, poised, and confident. This book is just a way to help reinforce the values these young women have learned from their parents, their church, and their peers.”
Christian Charm School Workbook is now available from Beauty By Design Online and can be used as part of your daughter’s devotional time, as a mother-daughter learning tool together or as learning materials for a bible study group.
