I’m sure you saw this one coming. If the fact that I read all three of these books in three weeks is any indication as to how much I really like this series, then let the truth be known! These books were incredibly easy reads and the story lines will definitely grab you.
In the third book in the series, Back on Blossom Street, you get re-acquainted with Alix. She’s getting married to Jordan and the wedding is quickly becoming an overwhelming chore rather than a celebration. You also meet Susannah, the owner of the flower shop next door to A Good Yarn and Colette, her mysterious new employee.
Of course, you also catch up with Lydia and what she is up to and her ever-temperamental sister, Margaret. But this time, Margaret has something to be moody about. Her daughter, Julia, is the victim of a carjacking and it sends the entire family into a tailspin.
This book is packed full of forgiveness and healing themes and is a wonderful read from cover to cover. You will hit those spots (as you almost always do in “chick literature”) where you think, “No way would someone actually talk like that.” But you can definitely overlook it as you follow the storyline from beginning to end.
