There are farms located all over the United States and Canada that allow visitors to pick their own fresh produce, such as apples, cherries, corn, strawberries, and pumpkins, and to choose Christmas trees. Families go on special outings to the apple orchard, to the pumpkin patch, or the Christmas tree farm. Many of these farms also have other family activities such as corn mazes, games, festivals, and fests. During apple picking season many farms offer fresh apple cider as a refreshing treat.
