Turkey Burgers

Moist, delicious, and flavorful turkey burger! Ground turkey makes a denser burger than ground beef because turkey has less fat. The addition of the light mayonnaise provides a little needed fat to keep it moist, and you can’t taste it at all. Great to freeze and have on hand for a quick meal! While this recipe makes only two burgers it would also work well making slightly smaller burgers with 1 lb. of meat yielding 4 burgers. Increase other ingredients to taste.

Turkey Burgers
10 oz. ground turkey (93% lean)
1 tablespoon green onion, minced 
1/4 teaspoon Watkins Seasoning Salt
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Watkins Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Watkins Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Light Mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco Chipotle Sauce
1/4 teaspoon Watkins Meat Magic
 
Mix all ingredients into ground turkey (using your hands seems to work best).

Divide mixture in half and form into 2 patties.

Heat grill to medium high. Would also work well in a skillet/grill pan on the stove top.

Spray grill with some Watkins Cooking Spray so the burgers don’t stick.

Cook burgers 7 1/2 minutes on each side. Serve. Makes 2 burgers.

Add your favorite condiments and accompaniments such as mustard, ketchup, sliced tomatoes, pickles, sliced onions, lettuce, cheese. Serve on whole grain buns.
