Review FAQ
Where will the review be placed on the site? Reviews are placed in our Product Reviews category permanently. Our main page features our ten newest posts, so reviews are featured on the main page when they are first posted and usually stay there for the first few days.
What are your reader demographics? The majority of our readers are American Moms between the ages of 25-44 with a household income estimated between $30-$60k.
Can I use bits of your review on my site linking back to the whole article? Yes, within reason. Obviously, the value of your review is diminished if it is copied to much because it is no longer “unique” but you are welcome to use snippets.
Do you use my pictures or do you take some yourself? We encourage our reviewers to take their own photos, and most of them do. Often, we will include both their photos and photos from your site as well.
How long does it take before my review is up? Once the reviewer receives the product or service, we ask them to try to complete the review within a week.
Can I offer a give away to your readers to spark more interest? Yes, we love that! You can offer a coupon code, a discount, or a second product for us to offer as a contest/giveaway. This is a great way to get extra attention for your site as well!
How much detail do you go into in your review, do you say the basics or list the “info” about the product? Our reviewers do an amazing, detailed job! Check out some of our past reviews below to get a better idea of the high quality of our reviews.
How do I submit a product for review?
Email Tracy at tracy@momsinablog.com with details of your product and it’s intended user (hobbies, age, etc) so that we can match it with the most appropriate reviewer and we will discuss additional details with you from there. As we said above - there is no cost for a review other then the cost of the product that you will send to our reviewer. Once a review is completed, you will also be added to our Mom Approved list!
How do I apply to join the Panel?
Right now - there aren’t any openings on the panel. When they do become available, we will post them here and on the main blog as well.
