I was a teenager in the 80′s when Cabbage Patch Kids first came on the scene. My sister was about 8 and I remember my Mom took me to Zayres (remember those?) and there were at least 200 women in the toy aisle grabbing boxes of the ‘kids – they didn’t care what they got as long as they got one. It was that year’s biggest Christmas gift.
My mom still has all of our original ‘Kids at her house – about 8 I think

When my newest Cabbage Patch, Orrin Dirk born March 30th arrived my daughter was excited! He is an adorable little guy complete with baby powder smelling blond hair and green eyes.
These “new” ‘Kids are one-of-a-kind commemorative reproduction of an original down to the faces, clothes & names (and even the cute little hiney with signature).
