Crystal’s 1 Pot Hamburger Rice Casserole

Must Have Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 jar of pasta sauce
2 cups of instant rice
Optional Ingredients
1 chopped onion
seasonings (I use seasoning salt, garlic powder and onion powder)
Frozen veggies (I like it with corn but any veggie works)
grated cheese
Directions
In a large pot, fry up the chopped onions and groun, sprinkle seasonings on the meat.
Add 2 cups of water,� the pasta sauce and the frozen veggies. Bring to a boil, stirring as needed.
Add 2 cups of instant rice, cover, remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
Fluff with a fork and then top with the grated cheese - serve.
Notes
I usually serve this with buns or garlic bread - and/or a tossed salad. My hubby does not usually like rice but loves this dish. And it’s so cheap and easy!
