Hi Everyone! If you are a parent, you know that it can get quite hectic at meal time. I have a great 2 minute Grilled Cheese Sandwich recipe that is sure to please any child (and parent) at mealtime. Here are the ingredients:
1 piece of bread
1 piece of American Cheese
Butter Flavored Pam Spray
Toast the bread in the toaster. Cut both the cheese and bread in half and put the sandwich together. (It will be a 1/2 sandwich) Spray both sides with some Butter Flavored Pam. Put it on a microwave safe place and microwave on 50% power for about 15 seconds. (Times vary with microwaves) Serve!
That is it! It couldn’t get any easier then that! I make it for my kids all the time for lunch or dinner and it is so much easier than grilling it on the stovetop. My kids are young and only eat half a sandwich, but, of course, you can double the recipe for older kids.
VARIATION: Add ham or turkey slices. You will need to microwave the sandwich a bit more if it has meat.
And this recipe is great for grown-ups, too! I make it for myself all the time and it is such a great timesaver.
ENJOY!!!!!!
