The Gift of Time

Have you ever thought about all the gifts we receive as people. We begin receiving gifts literally before we even come into the world. Baby shower gifts are given to our mothers and we use them though we may never realize. Then, birthday after birthday, holiday after holiday, special event after special event we are given more and more gifts.

I bet most of us cannot even fathom to count the number of gifts we have received over time. Some we remember, keep, treasure and hold dear, while others we toss as soon as it breaks or stow away to be found later. Whatever the case, there is one gift as mother’s that we can give our children that cannot be bought, replaced, or broken. It is the gift of TIME.

Many people say that LOVE can be spelled T-I-M-E. That is because when we spend TIME with someone we are showing that person that we love them. It is so important as mothers to give our daughters and our children the gift of time. This one gift they will remember for ALL time.
