I have to admit that we've been bad lately about it in our house. But overall my kids have some manners in them. The slack on the pleases and thank you's if we're not reinforcing it at home all the time . But they are considerate in ways like holding doors for people etc. For me I do value a thank you etc but the thing that drives me most crazy is the out right rudeness too many people demonstrate to their kids such as cutting in line etc. I hear ya!
